PREPARING YOUR ART ::
To the actual print Size desired, and at 300 dpi, is going to give you the highest quality rendering of your design. Here are some guidelines when designing in different programs.
Adobe Illustrator :: Adjust your document set up to 14 x 14 for Standard Prints, 16 x 16 for Oversize Prints, and 21 + x 21 + for Jumbo Size Prints. Once Set keep your design within the framed size and begin designing. Once Complete, always outline your fonts, and outline paths for any objects or fonts with strokes added. Save the design as an eps, or ai file. E-mail file over to us.
Adobe Photoshop :: Set Canvas Size to 14 x 14 for Standard Prints, 16 ; x 16 for Oversize Prints, and 21 + x 21 + for Jumbo Size Prints. Once Set keep your design within the framed size and begin designing.
Microsoft Word or Power Point :: If these are your only program options, your best bet is to take a screen shot and paste it in an e-mail. Fonts, formatting, and resolution is poorly rendered from these programs, and will most likely need to be re-created on our end. For simple text, content, or names, it is ok to type it out in Microsoft Word or Excel, and send it over, however fonts will not likely translate over. If a specific font is required, you will need to send the actual .ttf file along with the saved document. Or at least send us the Font Name, and we likely will have it on hand or can obtain it.
